When is the desired date for a stable release of IONIC 2.
An announcement hasn’t been made, but I would say that it won’t be at least for another 6 months at the absolute earliest. Angular 2 isn’t even to beta yet and Ionic’s creators took quite a while before they got to a 1.0 release.
Personally, I’m not going to start any “real” projects until we’ve hit a beta status for both Angular2 and Ionic2. Everything until then is just playing around and getting used to the changes.

I was thinking the same thing always wait fro bugs to be ironed out. By any chance do you know if there is a place where you can see the ionic road map? so you can see what is in future releases? PLUS do you know if they plan on sticking to the webview approach or will be changing to another compiler to improve performance?
I am trying to decide because I hear swift is releasing its core so you can build native for android and IOS in a language very similar to JS…
