Is there any special reson for removing Google-maps native plugin from ionic. Ionic will support the old-plugin in future or they are stop supporting.

If I try adding the plugin to my project (on Mac) I Get “you don’t have permission”.
If try with “sudo” I get “You cannot run CocoaPods as root.”
So, how can do to add the plugin to my ionic project??
