The future of collection-repeat

Hi guys,

great work on the recent Ionic 1.2 ‘pre release’. Its working great for me so far as a drop-in upgrade.

Since the default for on-scroll views is now native scrolling, overflow-scroll="false" simply needs to be added then everything is back to normal. Works great!

My question regards the future of collection-repeat. Is a version in development to work with native scrolling, or will we forever need to use javascript scrolling wherever we want to use a collection-repeat?

Announcing Ionic 1.2 - Ionic Blog

To force Javascript scrolling, use <ion-content overflow-scroll="false">. Note: collection repeat still uses Javascript scrolling which we will phase out in 1.3.

This terminology seems a little ambiguous to me. Does this mean that collection repeat will phase out in 1.3 along with JavaScript scrolling, or will collection repeat still be available in 1.3 and be implemented with something other than JavaScript scrolling?
