I made a starter app for anyone interested in an iPad app style with a nested side-menu and Split-View UI.

It has the same features as the iPad Mail App. However, it’s lacking some things like a proper back button in the nested sidemenu, and animation on changing between the menu to the submenu.

I’m currently looking for the best solution for implementing a GMail like layout: the left side menu contains the navigation (list of views, options…) while the content can contain both the list of emails and the current email content on large screens, while navigating between them on smaller ones.
Any idea/example on how this can be implemented? I tried several things but nothing works properly, like the pull to refresh or infinite scroll…
