Compilation for IOS without mac?

#1

I need to compile an ionic v1 project for IOS, but I do not have mac.
Is there any way to do this with windows?

#2

Google for “Ionic Package” or “phonegap build”.

I did not know Ionic Package, thank you very much, I’ll study it

You’ll still need a mac to upload to the App Store.

To test in the meantime you can use diawi.

#5

Not necessarily - you can a) rent a Mac on services like MacInCloud.com or similar or b) use something like https://www.wenz.io/ApplicationLoader (which seems to be down right now) or http://www.applicationloader.net/ (both with a special user account for this of course!)

MacInCloud of course is a brilliant option.

I’d still recommend having a mac stuck in the corner for stuff like this and also for debugging without additional tooling - you’ll give yourself a better time of it.

And you don’t have to spend much on it - like a Mac Mini for around $500 - or whatever you can find on eBay.

#7

If you were to recommend a minimal configuration for these projects, what would it be?

My MacBook Air was purchased back in 2011 and gets all the updates still - currently on MacOS Sierra.

Spec wise it’s got an i5 CPU / 4GB RAM / 128GB SSD

I believe anything running an i5 will get the latest updates for the foreseeable…

The compatibility list as is can be found here…
