Update Ionic weather app from v3 to v4

Hello everyone, asking for a favor.

I have a Ionic Weather app -

No longer available on iOS as I don’t have apple developer account anymore.

Anyone willing to help upgrade it from Ionic v3 to v4 or stencil based instead of angular.

Hi Ankush,

I might be able to help you. I’m currently working on an Ionic v4 app for a client, though this is a brand new build not an upgrade, but I might be able to help. Though I’m not 100% sure how much time I can spend helping on this, so if you are looking for a quick turnaround I might not have the capacity you need.

Thanks Stephen, I haven’t started upgrading and not sure how much effort is it to go from v3 to v4. Just posted here if someone is learning Ionic, maybe this is a good project to learn stuff. Otherwise I’ll sit one weekend and do it.

Hi Ankush,

If you are trying to upgrade to version 4 as a learning tool, there are some guides for how to go about it. For some people it seems to be a fairly straight forward process, but I suppose it depends on the Ionic V3 app you are upgrading.
