I can’t update my version of ionic from 7.2 to 8.2.6 on my macbook or on Windows, I always stay up to that version, I can’t update until version 7.2, what can I do?
You are confusing Ionic CLI and Ionic Framework, latest Ionic CLI is 7.2.0, latest Ionic Framework is 8.2.6.
Ionic CLI 7.2.0 creates Ionic 8 apps. If you want to update an existing app you have to update @ionic/core or @ionic/angular or @ionic/react or @ionic/vue packages.
