Packaging an ionic4 - capacitor app to android

Hey !

I am using ionic 4 with capacitor and I couldn’t build the project via the ionic cordova run --prod since I am not using Cordova. how do I proceed to make the final build and run it on my connected device ?

I don’t have the android studio, and I would like to have an other solution than having to install it.

Capacitor android relies on andoid studio and its build tools

If that is not what u want, then u r left with cordova (which needs lots from android too)

Alternative is building in Ionic Pro cloud
