Music Controls plugin doesn't work anymore

I’ve been using Cordova plugin music controls and they worked fine up until more recent android updates.

Now it doesn’t show up at all. Doesn’t error or anything just doesn’t show

I’ve played around with it for a while trying all sorts of things the create returns success. calling listen doesn’t cause any errors. I’m just getting nothing

Have you contacted the plugin author or checked the repo for issues?

I didn’t see a lot of activity on the plugin so I was more hopeful to get a response here. Nevertheless I did add a github issue
