Badly needed help,
I’m missing two folders when I created my first app.
I followed the http://ionicframework.com/docs/guide/installation.html and executed 
It has this directory
instead of this
have I done something wrong?
run this command
cordova platform add android

I executed what you said
and still nothing happens,
I did follow everything on this link
but when I reach the part of setting up the ionic project my command prompt output doesn’t seem to match his output.
