A simple question… Is Live Update feature necessary? And if I want only deploy to app stores? I will deploy very rarely, mainly after many tests.
However: the free plan will updates only 100 downloads/month. Deploy to app stores has no limitations I hope.

It is needed if you want to push Quick JS changes to your existing apps without having to load new binaries to the stores. It is NOT a requirement. It is mainly due to the time it takes Apple to approve your changes. Many people like myself find the apple approval process very time consuming.
