iOS 11 ionic v1 footer bar SVG rendering problem

Has anyone reached this issue in the GM of iOS 11 where if you use SVGs on the bottom bar, they do not render until the page is repainted.

In fact, all SVG files are not rendered until something is painted or you change some prop to force a refresh.

We had this problem recently and we upgraded from UIWebView to WKWebView. It seems to have resolved our problem.

I upgraded to WKWebView and still seem to have this issue. It doesn’t happen all the time, only on launch sometimes.
