@ionic/cordova-builders no longer supported? Ionic

It seems that since recently recently some of the leading developers no longer work on Ionic.

I’ve been strugling to update @ionic/cordova-builders to work with Angular 18. Made a pull request that was handled by @sean-perkins, but the publish to NPM hasn’t been succesful. @ionic/cordova-builders is stuck on version 11.0.0 that only supports angular 17…

It appears the is no one responsible for this part of Ionic.
Is Ionic a dead end for Cordova based apps?

I cannot do the publish myself since I lack the proper rights to NPM.

As a workaround you could install the version you need directly from the repo. Here is a good resource on installing a package via NPM directly from GitHub - Install NPM Packages from GitHub
