Has Ionic 2 removed 300ms overhead on tapping events in WebView?

I did a search in my local code base and didn’t see libraries such as fastclick being used, hence the question.

I understand that using the tappable directive you can remove the 300ms overhead of any clickable element.

Does it need to be made explicit by app developers or ionic components already integrates it?

I think some already does but I’m not 100% sure, and you can use it on custom links or divs.

Yep, that’s what I understand.

A tags and buttons already have the delay removed.
You shouldn’t need that if you are using them already.
Tappable is only for raw <ion-item>
