Existing Angular app need to be mobile app with Capacitor without Ionic?

Existing Angular app which is in IGAMING sector which is on production and have around 5000 monthly users, needed to be mobile game only APK file which will be downloaded on the site, not need for play/app store.

In app there is a lot of 3rd party providers, for payment, geolocation, KYC, and also games which is opened in iframes.

Does anyone have clue, or heard that made some working Angular app only with capacitor, what would be downsides, will 3rd party providers work also as games in iframe?

Thanks in advance!

Ionic and Capacitor are completely independent so you can definitely have a standard Angular app wrapped up into a Capacitor app.

iFrames do work in Capacitor but you will need to check your specific use case. For payments and geolocation you may need to use native plugins.

Thank you very much for explanation.

And few more question if you know, is it okay then to use only Angular with Capacitor, for building mobile apps from scratch?

Is there any downside to this? And why we need Ionic then?

Ionic provides a native app feel out-of-the-box especially with navigation - see Angular Page Component Life Cycle - App Events Documentation. You can pick and choose what you use from Ionic. I pretty much just use the routing and more native components like modals, alerts, etc.
