ERROR ITMS-90704: "Missing App Icon. An app icon measuring 1024 by 1024 pixels in PNG format must be included in the Asset Catalog

I made a package build for my app. But when I tried uploading the generated IPA file using Transporter I get the following error: ‘ERROR ITMS-90704: "Missing App Icon. An app icon measuring 1024 by 1024 pixels in PNG format must be included in the Asset Catalog of apps built for iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS. Without this icon, apps cannot be submitted for review. For details, see https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/icons-and-images/app-icon/."’. The image is included in my source, icons and splash screen also work perfectly when I made a test build. The only difference now should be that I’m building for production.

Do you need to add the App Icon…

Create the image with 1024 x 1024px and add this image in folder resources…

After… Run in your terminal the ionic cordova resources --force

But don’t forget the splashScreen…

Of course I have those…
See iOS section of my config, yes these files also exist and are uploaded to ionic build

When making an iOS Development build and installing the file op iPad’s and iPhone’s I’ve never had a missing icon but maybe the icon sizes are not used on any device so I can’t know for sure if they are actually present.
