Embed Unity App

I have created a small ionic app that I would now like to update to include/embed an Augmented Reality app that I have previously created using Unity and vuforia.

Ideally I would like to include a button in my ionic app,which when clicked, loads the AR functionality.

Would love any advice on ways to approach such an integration. Can you import / embed / call an externally created app within an ionic app?
