Current status of PWA on iOS

Can anybody share some experience with PWA on iOS? Is it currently working? Do push notification work?

I have an Ionic app working on Android and now I’m thinking about migrating to PWA. Push notifications is a very central functionality of my app. Is it a good idea to migrate at the current point of time?

OK, so as of today no push notifications. Is that correct?
And the current PWA support is still beta? When is the release planned?
