I created my project with ionic2 and angularjs2. the variable.ccss file is practically empty. so i am creating some custom css code. I feel that’s not the best practices.
Is there any source code css for tags. or i keep coding my css?

Within each page and component generated by the command line you will see three files, a html, ts and a scss file. You would normally use this scss file.
