Buttons no longer work in chrome Version 43.0.2357.2 dev-m (64-bit)

i started an ionic serve this morning to test locally and discovered that none of my buttons work in chrome. I suspect a chrome update came through (Version 43.0.2357.2 dev-m (64-bit)) that broke everything.

The buttons still work fine in IE.

Anyone else experience this? Any advice to work around this?
