A new category Ionic-v4 should be created in this forum
But it seems nobody cares about this, Is there anyone know how to notify Ionic Team or help to done this?
I think the ionic category (without suffix) is meant for ionic-v4. See its description:
The Ionic category is for all posts related to the @ionic/core or @ionic/angular package of the framework itself.
(@ionic/core and @ionic/angular are the npm packages of ionic-v4)

However, what you think is not the same with what others think. You can see the title list of forum at sixes and sevens. Moreover, “ionic” includes ionic 2, 3, 4…posts Now!!! And do you ever think of If there are ionic, ionic2, ionic3 , why ionic4 becomes ionic? It’s a very easy logic, and what you think is not what others do.
Clear category should be given, but it seems nobody cares.
