TTS and Speech Recognition - What would you use?

Hi chaps,

I’ve spent quite a bit looking but can’t really make heads or tails of this.
I’d be happy with an iOS only solution for the time being, but there doesn’t seem to be a working cordova plugin that uses the native API.

Hopefully someone out there has experience on this topic!
Any recommendations?

and I’m still looking for good TTS plugin
