Split-view: hide exposed left side menu in a specified view

Hi there,

I would like to be able of hide the exposed left side menu on iPad in a specified view. I tried $ionicSideMenuDelegate.toggleLeft() without success. How could I do it?

Hey, I know this is old, but I search a solution for this,
Has anyone a idea on this problem?

I got a list of posts which has a exposed menu.
When i go to the detail view the exposed menu has to hide,
Anyone has a idea?
Tried different things with the $ionicSideMenuDelegate but without any succes.
