Splashscreen [ionic cordova resources]

hi ionic-community,

i’m developing a pwa and need some help with the splashscreen @ios. the splashscreen works on android, but i’m not able to get the icon to the splashscreen of any ios-devices. i’m just running “ionic cordova resources” and it works perfect on any android device, but on ios the splash-screen is still white. all images are generated (for both, android and ios).

A PWA will not use the config.xml file, instead you need to use the manifest.json file to define your splash screen. However, this is broken in some version of iOS. You also need to included these tag as well:

PWA support on iOS is still under very active development by the Safari team.

@ChrisGriifith: Thank you for your input! Do i have to include these tags in the manifest? I think this will be the wrong place… Where do I have to include the tags? in my index.html - right?
