SlideMenu problems on ToDo tutorial

Has anyone else had issues with the SlideMenu not working on the ToDo tutorial? I’m pretty sure I’ve completed all the steps (checked them twice), but all I get is the word “Projects” displayed. Swiping doesn’t do anything.

  • Working off build ionic-0.9.24
  • The “seed” Pets app seems to be working fine, but that doesn’t have a SwipeMenu.
  • I’m viewing in Chrome on Linux (Webkit).
  • Viewing in the Android emulator gives the same result.

What’s the url to the side menu tutorial? We must have missed some content that needs updating and I want to make sure we’re talking about the same page.

Thanks for your response, Adam.

So, I kind of resolved the issue. If, rather than using the scripts that come with the build,…

  <script src="js/ionic.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular/angular.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular/angular-animate.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular/angular-route.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular/angular-touch.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular/angular-sanitize.js"></script>
  <script src="js/angular-ui/angular-ui-router.js"></script>
  <script src="js/ionic-angular.js"></script>

I instead use…

  <script src=""></script>

…things work as expected.

Thanks for the reminder, I updated the code:

Hello Adam,

I’m making the same tutorial 18th May, and I have the same issue, in my side bar the projects simply are not appearing, in the browser works perfectly, but in the ios emulator doesn’t. Thanks for the help.

… Another thing, when I sometimes make click in the menu button it asks me to create a new project.

I’m just getting ionic up and running and working through the tutorial. The Todo app works in my browser, but when I send it to the emulator it does not work. I’m using the Samsung Galaxy S4 - 4.4.4. - API 19 in GenyMotion. The app loads and I get the Todo bar on top, but I cannot get the side menu to appear. What Am I missing?
