Refresher icon and text are not displayed

I am pretty sure this worked a couple of weeks ago, but when I pull a refresher, neither the icon or text is displayed. I always thought it had something to do with my CSS or setup, but as I started to fix it, I noticed it is also not displaying on the Ionic codepen examples: http://codepen.io/ionic/pen/mqolp

Does anyone else see this?

Hmmm: hold on, this seem only to be a problem when I look at the app in desktop Chrome.
