I’m trying to use Protractor to do some E2E testing of my Ionic app, and have run into issues with the normal webdriver ‘click’ not registering with Ionic in certain situations.
So far it works fine for clicking buttons on a page, but it does not work for clicking items in a side menu, for example. I believe this is because Ionic is expecting touch events and the way webdriver delivers the click is not being seen as a ‘tap’ by Ionic. However, I have not found any way to send touch events via Protractor, just clicks.
Does anyone have any success using Protractor to navigate via the side menu?
