Native: tried accessing the SQLite plugin but it's not installed

I am trying to use the SQLite plugin in the browser view of my Ionic 2 App, but I keep getting that warning message eventhough the plugin is installed (refer to the title).
Is it impossible to use SQlite with ionic serve ?

I’m trying to figure this out as well…According to Nic Raboy, Ionic Native has problems with ionic serve. Did you ever figure out what was wrong? Was he correct?

Someone answered me on git about that here .
This plugin does not support the browser platform. Forgot to keep track of this post.
