Native social sharing dialog doesn't open in the default system language

When I run my app on an iOS emulator or a physical device, the share() function opens the dialog in japanese language, when the phone is in spanish or english.

this also happens when running on an iPhone X.

Any idea what is causing this?

Ok, I haven’t found any info before I made this post, but I think I found a solution in this issue from the github repo https://github.com/EddyVerbruggen/SocialSharing-PhoneGap-Plugin/issues/289#issuecomment-94705827 .
