Modal window shows black screen when bootstrap css is added

hi IONIC gurus,

i am trying to use some Bootstrap css in IONIC app > Modal view. but i am getting a black screen the moment i add bootstrap css in index.html.

here is the plnkr for this-

navigation:
click side menu > sign in > you will see black screen.

please help.
