Mapbox cordova plugin vs Ionic native google maps?

Hello guys,

I’ve been using Ionic native google maps and then I discovered this Telerik verified Mapbox plugin for cordova.

It has typescript implementation for Ionic users.

Are there anyone using this?

How would you compare this to native google maps?

Is it faster than native google maps?

I tried to use it. It doesn’t work at all. It does not even showed in imports.
But you can use Mapbox API via ionic(angular) services
