I made this tutorial out of necessity, because initially, I couldn’t find a way to work in animations within a splash screen, which was something that I wanted.

So here’s a written and video tutorial that shows the full process:

Thanks @dreamache could you please share ionic v2 code?

However I believe splash screen should be appear when app has tapped by user and completely lunched. this is a PNG by cordova. and could replace with any PNG files only. running animated SVG files as a splash screen needs to be cordova loaded.
