Is there a way to display the ion-picker not in a modal?

I am trying to create a picker that is permanently on-screen, similar to the functionality of the IOS timer:

Does anyone know if this is possible? I don’t see any options to modify the behaviour on the documentation and don’t really want to try build my own.
