Ionic2-ratings returns rating is not a component error

Hey anyone used the documentation for ionic2-ratings from this github?

I get an error that says rating is not a known element when i follow their description. Kinda confused if i have to do anything else because the documentation here is causing an error.

Anyone knows a way outta this?

I implemented it exactly the way it was mentioned here what i am not sure is

  1. Do i have to create a rating component?

Anyone implemented stars ratings on ionic2 or via angular2 before?
