I’ve created a bedside clock app with a black background. On Android it looks great, but on iOS the screen seems to be back lit thus making the black look grey and the whole area around the phone in a dark room is lit up rendering the app useless on iOS as it’s to bright.
I’ve tried turning the brightness down, but the pause/resume events are not triggered on iOS (they are on Android and again it works great), so when you come out the app the screen is still dim!
Is there a away to turn the back lit screen off or can anyone tell me how to get the pause/resume events working on iOS?
