Ionic to SVG image not displayed in IOS Devises

I’m trying to view a SVG image on my iPhone using Ionic 3. On iOS the svg image is not displayed. But on android devices everything is working well. Anyone know how to fix that issue?

Hey, while working with SVG in Angular you should be aware of certain rules, read here in detail: http://teropa.info/blog/2016/12/12/graphics-in-angular-2.html

as for your case, make sure:

  • <svg:path… instead of <path… for all svg elements (main svg element can remain just svg
  • ensure you set width & height of the main svg element (e.g. width = “value”
  • also add ns stuff: xmlns:xlink=“http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink”

retest and see if this still is a problem
