Ionic package fails to build

Ionic Package cloud service fails everytime since 10 days with error:

Creating Cordova project for the Android platform:
    Path: platforms/android
    Package: io.ionic.starter
    Name: MyApp
    Activity: MainActivity
    Android target: android-25
Subproject Path: CordovaLib
Android project created with cordova-android@6.2.3
Error: cordovaProject.projectConfig.getFileResources is not a function

I’m installed ionic environment locally using cordova and cordova-android@6.2.3 that should be the same version used by Ionic Package cloud service.

Here is the cordova pugins in package.json file:

No, any update! I also contacted the customer support but they don’t know what’s happening…

I am seeing the same issues running with --release as well.

I don’t see anything obviously wrong. Can you build locally?

Locally all works fine using the command below:

ionic cordova build android

And also serving application in a real device with:

ionic cordova run android -lcs

Same error here. App builds locally but fails when using remote packaging.

ionic package build android --release --profile android --prod

First time using Ionic Cloud, and using a simple tabs starting app.

I’ve been able to compile.

I don’t know if there is a relation between our local cordova environment and ionic cloud environment, but after this 2 simple steps ionic package start to works.

the right combination is cordova@6 and android@6.1.2.

To be sure to have 6 version of cordova-cli run:

npm uninstall -g cordova

npm install -g cordova@6

To be sure to have 6.1.2 of android platform run:

ionic cordova platform rm android

ionic cordova platform add android@6.1.2

After this ionic package works for me.
