Hi WidawskiJ, here is a live folder with the tabs ionic starter plus some stuff…
http://www.sh-original-media.com/waves/myApp/www/#/tab/dash
you will see that there waves is there and configured on the list items, and tabs, but the effect doesn’t work…
I would be really grateful to know how to fix this
Thanks for your time!!
Well, I think I found one of your issues
Hi WidawskiJ, thanks I didn’t notice this…
I did another test here:
www.sh-original-media.com/waves2/
and it seems to work for tabs, but when i tried to put it on list item it changes them to be smaller and doesn’t show the effect on them… but at least on tabs it works
Hi @shaulhadar ,
That sounds pretty good. It would be awesome if the Ripple effect work on cards as well.
Hi,
Is there some update on this topic with latest Ionic version?
I started to use [materializecss][1]. Here is a Demo (integrated with beta13):
[CODEPAN][2].
It demands some changes in their css but it makes sense. It contains waves and velocity animation by default. (See Login tab from side-menus in demo)

Hi @shoustin,
Thanks for the post. I’m not sure if it betters ngMaterial Project and ripple wave effect doesn’t seem to work on cards?
I hate jQuery and in all web clients I never use it but what can I do if on mobiles most my code built from workarounds
I can’t confirm that its better. Only the fact - its based on jQuery. But at least it works properly.
Hi @shoustin,
Is the expanding floating action button on your screenshot included in the library “materializecss” ?
yes but I did some changes to make it work by logic way on mobile. Hide/show …
