Ionic "input type=file" + Android 4.4.2

Hello,

I came across a problem that the standard HTML5 <input type="file"> in my ionic application won’t work on android phones running 4.4.2 (KitKat). I’ve googled and found lot’s of other people with the same problem but I haven’t found a solution.
