It’s a good tutorial, but don’t seem to work on Phones. In the comment section there are a few people debating and developing plugins to fix the problem.

I’ve contacted Firebase Technical Staff. They told me to use the workaround suggested by Firebase Engineer bojeil in the following stackoverflow thread
One of commenters on his workaround, has implemented that workaround, and it worked for him.
Once it works for you please tell me.
