Ionic and Wordpress

Hey guys,

First, I have been following the framework for quite some time now. It looks very promising, and I have therefore decided to move all my further projects to the framework.

On topic, I have searched the forums, google and so forth but I am not able to find any good tutorials and resources that have used Wordpress along with Ionic.

Has anyone been building apps with Wordpress as backend?

Is it necessary to use Reactor? Or does that just make it easier? It seems like a great tool, but the monthly price is a bit of a deterrent so Iā€™m curious if there are alternatives.
