Ionic 6 and angular 16

Dear,

We are using ionic V6.7.5. We want to update to Angular V16.2.0.
Anybody know if there are known problems with this? Because in the ionic support table . You can see that ionic6 only supports until Angular15. Someone knows why?

Updating to ionic7 is not an option yet becaue we need to make a lot of changes first.

Angular 16 was released after active development on Ionic 6 ended. Ionic 7 is in active development which is why it supports Angular 16.
