Does updating angular v 6 to angular v 7 will effect ionic 4 as ionic 4 uses Angular 6
If you run into any problems, best to revert to officially supported versions and see if the problem persists.
That being said, I’ve managed to at least build and run an Ionic 4 app with Angular 7, and the sky did not fall.
