There is no Ionic Native integration of any Braintree Cordova plugin yet, but it was requested:
You should be able to get pretty far with using the plugin itself:

I had issues with the Taracque plugin, especially with iOS.
I had better luck with this one instead https://github.com/dpa99c/cordova-plugin-braintree
