How to Capture 13-inch iPad Screenshots for App Store Without a Physical Device which needed for app review

Hi everyone,

I recently received this feedback from the App Store review team:

“The 13-inch iPad screenshots show an iPhone image that has been modified or stretched to appear to be an iPad image. Screenshots should highlight the app’s core concept to help users understand the app’s functionality and value.”

The problem is, I don’t have access to a 13-inch iPad device. Has anyone faced a similar issue? What’s the best way to generate correct screenshots for the 13-inch iPad requirement?I also attached the screenshots by running on xcode simulator but it also rejected.

  • Any tips to avoid rejection for stretched or scaled screenshots?

Any guidance or suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks!

It’s been a while since we created ours, but I used the iPad Pro 12.9" emulator to create the screenshots. We then used https://app-mockup.com to create fancy images that we then uploaded to Apple. I just logged into our Apple account and it looks like they are populating iPad 13" screenshots from our 12.9".
