How to bring the side menu over the content?

Hello Team,

I am a newbee to ionic1.
While using sidemenu we notice that it shifts the content to the other side in order to bring sidemenu up
Instead I want it to come over the content. How can I achieve this functionality?

Thank you but I am new to angular 1.x and have no idea on angular 2 hence I am working on ionic1 only
I hope this can be done in ionic1 as well
