Is there an attribute directive or a configuration option to add a horizontal scrollbar for the ion-slides component?
Not at the moment. We’ve tried to keep the Slides API much simpler than the original Swiper API. But we plan on revisiting this post 2.0 final

What does “2.0 final” mean? Anyway, I look forward to it. You could treat it same way as pagination bullets.
