Footer clicks and some IOS devices

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with a footer on one of my pages. This footer displays some information and is also clickable.

The footer works correctly on most devices, but there is an exception with some Apple iPhone models, as observed through Xcode simulation.

On these devices, when I click the interactive element, nothing happens until I leave the page and then re-enter. After that, it functions normally, just as it does on other devices.

Do you have any idea why this might be happening or how I could debug the cause?

Sharing some code would be helpful. Even better, a minimal reproduction on StackBlitz.

The issue is that it works on the web browser and Android, but on iOS, it works on iPads while giving some issues on certain iPhones.

A couple of things:

  • You say you see an exception but haven’t shared what it is
  • You say it only occurs on some iPhone models but haven’t said which ones
  • You will need to share some code so we can help
  • Are you using a JS framework or just plain JS with Ionic?
