Embed QR code scanner in a section of the page - scanning all the time

Hello there,

I wanted to build a page like this for a tablet app:-

where the left side would show some instructions, while the right hand side will show a QR code scanner - which does not fill the entire page, so that I can still show some stuff at the bottom.

How can I show the QR code scanner all the time and once it detects the result then immediately reflect it on the screen?
