Cordova TestFlightPlugin with Apple's TestFlight?

I am using Ionic for an iOS app, I plan to release a beta of the app in the near future. I would like to use the external testing option Apple provides. I understand that I need to submit the app to Apple before it will be approved for a TestFlight.

Do I need to use the Cordova TestFlightPlugin to help log JS errors using Apple’s TestFlight? I know that Apple acquired TestFlight, so I’m confused as to if the plugin still works with Apple’s version. It appears that the plugin’s GitHub repository hasn’t had a commit in a long time.

Hi, you don’t need submit the app for testing.
You can use testflight directly on his website uploading your app .ipa
